Steve Goldsby is a technology visionary and entrepreneur with nearly two decades of experience protecting government and commercial information assets from hackers and other threats.
The bulk of Steve's experience is in the information technology and security industry as a subject matter expert and consultant to federal, state, and commercial organizations spanning all major verticals. He has provided information security and technology consulting services to the federal government, several state governments, portions of the nation's critical infrastructure, and Fortune 100 clients around the world, including the University of Georgia, Mack Trucks, and Choicepoint.
Steve is founder and CEO of Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc., an information security and technology company specializing in risk-based decision support services. As CEO, he sets corporate vision and direction, establishes client relations, networks with other professionals, and keeps abreast of new developments in the technological field. Through hard work and dedication, ICS has grown from one employee in 1997 to nearly one hundred employees today.

Michael Rosen, CISSP, GIAC-GCFA, PCI-QSA
Senior Investigator / Verizon Business Investigative Response Team
Michael Rosen is a senior investigator currently within the Verizon Business Investigative Response Team. The Investigative Response Team is an integral part of the Verizon Business RISK Team which is dedicated to informing Verizon Business clients and driving other security products and services through extensive risk intelligence operations. Michael has over 10 years of experience in the information security field, and has led several investigations, most involving Fortune 500 organizations. Michael has a BBA in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University, as well as several industry certifications which include: CISSP, GIAC-GCFA, and the PCI-QSA. Michael is a member of ISSA, ISC, SANS, The Society of Payment Security Professionals, and the Tampa InfraGard chapter. Michael is also a contributing author to the Verizon Business 2009 Data Breach Investigations Report.
J. Andrew Valentine
Senior Investigator, Team Lead / Verizon Business Forensics and Incident Response Team
J. Andrew Valentine is currently a senior investigator and team lead for the Forensics and Incident Response Team within Verizon Business / Cybertrust Inc. Mr. Valentine has led a number of high profile investigations involving network breach and data compromise within the United States as well as internationally — many of which have led to successful indictment and prosecution. His work is highly regarded by many United States government agencies, such as the FBI, Secret Service, and the Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Valentine is a highly specialized security professional trained in computer forensics, evidentiary procedures, and investigative techniques. He is well-versed in both criminal and civil investigative requirements and regularly interacts with government and state/provincial law enforcement agencies worldwide to transition case evidence and set the stage for prosecution.
Mr. Valentine has over 9 years of experience as a computer crime and security professional having spent 4 years in the public sector employed within the Computer Crime Center at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Mr. Valentine has been published in Computer Fraud and Security Magazine, SC Magazine, as well as Retail Banking Magazine, and was a contributing author for the American Bar Association’s 2008 Cyber Crime Handbook.
Jim Geuin
Information Security Manager / Florida Department of Law Enforcement
Mr. Geuin has been employed in State Government for over 18 years, working for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and currently the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). He has served in the statutory position of Information Security Manager for FDLE for over fifteen years.
Geuin has served on a variety of committees, workgroups and teams, including the Florida Infrastructure Protection Center (FIPC) Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), FDLE’s Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), State Chief Information Officer (CIO) Security Workgroup and several committees involved with reviewing and revising Florida’s Information Security Standards and Rules. He has also coordinated and managed FDLE’s Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and the Information Resource Management Continuity of Operations (COOP) plan.
Prior to joining State Government, Geuin worked with control and data acquisition systems, interactive video training development and for over 23 years, as a member of the U. S. Submarine Force.
Geuin is active with the Florida Citizens’ Police Academy Association, the Tallahassee Infragard Member’s Alliance, the Florida Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FL-ISAC) and the Government Forum for Incident Response and Security Teams (G-FIRST).
Geuin, a great-grand father, is an Information Systems Management graduate of Christopher Newport University in Virginia.
Brett Cureton
Network and Systems Security Administrator / Florida Department of Law Enforcement
Brett Cureton is the Lead Network and Systems Security Administrator for the FDLE's Florida Computer Crime Center (FC3). Mr. Cureton is tasked with providing technical analysis and assistance for FC3’s computer crime cases, and he also serves as a Technical Team Lead for the Criminal Computer Incident Response Team of the Florida Infrastructure Protection Center. Mr. Cureton has completed extensive training in the area of high technology crime investigation as well as computer forensics.
Mr. Cureton has 8 years of law enforcement experience. In addition to his current work for FC3, he formerly served as FDLE’s Lead Computer Crime Analyst tasked with the analysis of computer evidence and investigative activities in the Center as they deal with Internet hacking, network intrusion cases, E-mail based threats, high-tech fraud investigations and Internet based child exploitation. Mr. Cureton’s responsibilities also include assisting in the execution of search warrants for the search and seizure of electronic evidence and in the preparation of legal process documents (investigative subpoenas and court orders). Cureton has received extensive training in these areas and is certified as a Computer Operating System Technician, Computer Hardware Technician, Certified Network Technician, Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator.
Cureton received his Bachelors Degree in Business from Florida State University in 1991, and worked as a non-sworn investigator for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation before joining FDLE’s Florida Computer Crime Center as a computer crime analyst in March of 2000. Cureton was assigned as the Lead Computer Crime Analyst for the Florida Computer Crime Center in March of 2002 and Lead Network and Systems Security Administrator in December of 2006.
Clifford Stokes, Jr.
Incident Response and Digital Forensics Consultant/ Florida Department of Law Enforcement
Clifford Stokes, Jr. is an Incident Response and Digital Forensics Consultant for the FDLE's Florida Computer Crime Center (FC3). Mr. Stokes is tasked with providing technical analysis and assistance for FC3’s computer crime cases, and he also serves as Technical Team Lead for the Criminal Computer Incident Response Team of the Florida Infrastructure Protection Center. Mr. Stokes has completed extensive training in the area of high technology crime investigation as well as computer forensics.
Mr. Stokes has 12 years of law enforcement experience providing technical expertise in criminal investigations for FDLE, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Secret Service and multiple sheriff’s offices and police departments in the state of Florida. In addition to his work for FC3, he worked as a Network Administrator for a global corporation. He also worked a number of years as a Distributed Computer Systems Administrator with the Florida Department of Corrections.
Mr. Stokes received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of West Florida. Mr. Stokes is A+ Certified and a Microsoft Certified Professional. For the past 8 years, Mr. Stokes has also worked as a private Computer Consultant.
Amy Tanner Caldeira
Security Outreach Coordinator / Agency for Enterprise Information Technology (AEIT)
Amy Caldeira is the Security Outreach Coordinator with AEIT, a Florida Cabinet agency reporting to the Governor, Attorney General, Chief Financial Officer, and the Commissioner of Agriculture. She is responsible for coordinating with all agency Information Security Managers and sharing information strategic to Florida in the areas of information security policy, training, risk management, domestic security coordination, incident response, and survivability.
Ms. Caldeira works closely with all Florida agencies, cities, counties, and municipalities in recommending operating procedures that ensure an adequate level of security for data and information technology resources throughout the enterprise.
Ms. Caldeira has been employed in state government for more than five years working for the Department of Health, the Department of Management Services, and currently the newly-formed Agency for Enterprise Information Technology. She is an associate of the North Florida Domestic Security Task Force, Domestic Security Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Committee, a member of both the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center and the Tallahassee InfraGard Member’s Alliance in Tallahassee.
Jane Sowerby, CISSP
Enterprise Information Security Officer / Agency for Enterprise Information Technology (AEIT)
Jane Sowerby is an Enterprise Information Security Officer with AEIT, a Florida Cabinet agency reporting to the Governor, Attorney General, Chief Financial Officer, and the Commissioner of Agriculture. She is responsible for coordinating statewide efforts in the areas of information security policy, risk management, security incident response, and survivability.
A true Floridian, Ms. Sowerby was born in Jacksonville and graduated from Florida State University. Jane has worked for the state of Florida for more than 30 years, initially in public relations and—for the past 25—in technology. In addition to her information security expertise, she has developed applications, administered databases, managed IT units, and directed research and development teams. Prior to joining the Office of Information Security in 2007, Ms. Sowerby served as the Information Security Manager for the Florida Department of Health.
