Web Proxies are designed so that you can use the Web without being tracked by monitoring or logging software. For example, a site like www.anonymizer.com allows you to surf other sites on the Net, while any monitoring software, firewalls, and incoming logs document only the www.anonymizer.com address.

Remailers are services that allow users to send email in a way that masks or disguises the originating IP address. One of these services is available at www.EvilEmail.com. All email sent using this service appears to have been sent from the evilemail.com servers, instead of the actual originating service (yahoo.com, comcast.net, etc).

Bulletproof hosts, generally located outside the U.S., are generally bulk-email-friendly web hosting services provided by Internet service providers who, for a price, ensure that the site won?t be shut down and won?t respond to the requests for information by law enforcement. This practice is often bolstered by ?plausible deniability? on the part of the host who collects a fee without any personally identifiable form of payment.
